Making God Visible

Things that are invisible are hard to see. That really goes without saying. So why say it? Let me explain. As I look out my window I can't see the wind but I can see it's effects on the trees so I know it is there. It is the same way with God. As I look out over his church I can't see God but I can see his effects on the members so I know he is there. As God works in our daily lives we make him visible to others. Let me encourage you to share what God is doing in your life so that others may see.

Bible reading
February 1-17

This weeks reading lead us to Matthew's account of the death and resurrection of Jesus. As you read this, compare it to what is happen in the Old Testament reading from Exodus. What do you see?

Why So Many Chapters?

As you are reading thru Exodus and the instructions for the tabernacle do you wonder why there are so many chapters on this subject. God only used 2 to tell us of the creation of the world but used 12 for the tabernacle. Can the length teach us a lesson in itself? The tabernacle is God's own plan and points to salvation. It was designed by God and it and all its components represent parts of God's plan of salvation. As you read look for these lessons and you will see how it points to Christ. Maybe thats why there are so many chapters.
